ATTENTION ALL YOUTH The National Catholic Youth Conference will take place November 21-23, 2019 with our diocesan delegation leaving on Wednesday, November 20th. This year the conference will be held in Indianapolis, IN with the theme “Blessed, Broken, Given”. This will be an exciting time for our youth and those involved in youth ministry to gather in celebration of faith with others from all over the country. 47th ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE The Diocese of Owensboro is in the planning stages of offering an adult and family oriented trip to the 47th annual March for life in Washington DC on January 24, 2020 to be the voices for the voiceless unborn and advocate for the sanctity of human life. You are invited to be part of this trip. We depart from Owensboro on 1-22-20 at 8:00 pm, spend two days in Washington DC at the Hotel where the convention is to be held. While there we plan to go to the vigil Mass for Life at the National Basilica the night before the March, attend the March on 1-24-20, and depart for home on 1-25-20. The estimate for the price per person is $325. A $50 deposit to register is required for the trip on or before October 25, 2019. For more information please contact Richard Murphy at the Diocese at 270.683.1545. ADULT BIBLE STUDY\LETTER TO THE HEBREWS Classes are held in the cafeteria and begins promptly at 6:30 pm. Our Fall Class is for any interested adults to learn more about our Sacred Scriptures and Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Faith as we study the New Testament Letter to the Hebrews. HOPE UNLIMITED Hope Unlimited Family Care Center is in need of thrift store workers to sort items and wait on customers in both their Paducah and Metropolis locations. They also need someone to go pick up items in Metropolis to bring back to Paducah. A truck to drive would be provided.
