    Helpful HintsTIME - In order to be on time for our parades and shows, please notethat Holland is on Eastern Daylight Savings Time in May.

    TRAFFIC PATTERNS - When arriving to the Holland area, tune yourdial to CB/Channel 9 or 530 AM for information about local trafcpatterns. For both entering and touring the area, it is recommended to

    use 16th, 24th or 32nd Streets rather than 8th Street. Use Pine or VanRaalte Avenues to exit town.

    AIRPORT - The nearest major airport is Gerald R. Ford InternationalAirport in Grand Rapids (GRR), approximately 40 minutes away.Several car rental companies are located within the terminal.www.grr.org.

    TULIPS - A lot of time goes into the planting and beautication of our

    tulips. We ask that you enjoy them and take a lot of photos but pleasedo not pick them.

    TRANSPORTATION - It is suggested to have your own means oftransportation as our festival is held throughout the city. The City ofHolland offers local bus transportation. To view their schedule pleasevisit - www.catchamax.org. Otherwise there are a few car rental andcab companies.

    PARADE BLANKET/CHAIR POLICY - For the Volksparade andKinderparade, items cannot be set up earlier than 6am the morningof the parade. Muziekparade items cannot be set up earlier than 9pmon Friday evening. Items may be placed between street and side-walk only. All items must be removed no later than 1 hour after eachparade.

    TICKETS - We recommend ordering show tickets in advance. Duringthe festival ticket availability varies. An additional $3 per ticket feewill be charged for all online orders.

    REFUNDS - Refunds are available until April 7, 2008, less a 5%handling fee. Returned tickets must be in the Tulip Time ofce by April7, 2008. No exceptions. In the unfortunate event of a severe illness,injury or death, which directly prevents a visitor from attending thefestival, refunds are available less the 5% handling fee. To qualify forthis type of refund a doctors note or a copy of a death certicate must

    be mailed with all tickets to the Tulip Time Festival ofce by June 13,2008. Customers are asked to please notify the ofce as soon aspossible so that tickets may be re-sold if time allows.
