Comments:
Attend site to commission 3 x UtraGas boilers
Following site induction liaised with site contact and proceeded to plant room.
AA Vs and PR Vs fitted to all boilers. No flue test points fitted (installer drilled test holes into single skin part of the flue). Boilers have traps fitted as supplied.
Ventilation ductwork incomplete however for commissioning purposes the is sufficient supply and extract ventilation. Interlocks have been fitted to supply and extract fans. Interlocks are wired to disable main gas solenoid is de-energised and all enable signals are cut. Safety circuit through the boilers will be operate in the event of the fire alarm.
Plant room is also incomplete and is likely to change before job completion.
Combustion and gas pressures checked and details recorded on combustion sheets for each boiler.
Another visit will be required once the ventilation and controls are complete.
NB . As the plant room, ductwork, interlocks to supply and extracts are not as they will be at completion the commissioning certificates only cover the plant room and ventilation in its current state . A!:r£ changes to the above will invalidate the commissioning certificates and Hoval will need to return to ensure changes meet relevant standards and safety requirements.
*lt would also be worth considering re-routing the supply ventilation ducting to more evenly distribute the supply air across the plant room.
