A Note from the Administrator...

P. Mike

Dear friends,

Queridos amigos,

Una nota del Administrador...

Last week we had a special blessing and investiture for dozens of young people who want to serve our Church as altar servers. Young people, the parish and I are so grateful for your desire to serve Our Lord! And next week we have something else special: Fr. Alfred Lopez will be here at all Masses telling us about “Food for the Poor,” and taking up a collection. Finally, we are so blessed to have a zealous deacon with a special care for the suffering. Deacon John Cruz offers his invitation to “Surviving the Holidays,” a gathering for those suffering the loss of loved ones. When I asked what this was, he replied: “Grieving the loss of a love one doesn’t always go away with time. The holidays often bring about that sense of loss and hurt no matter how long the loss has been. This workshop will offer fellowship, prayer and tools to assist those going through this period.” This gathering will meet at 6pm each of the following evenings: Tuesday, November 7th in the Sacred Heart Center Room B, Wednesday, November 15th in the Sacred Heart Center Loft, Wednesday, December 13th in the Loft and Thursday, January 11th in the Sacred Heart Center Room C.

Peace, All Good! Fr. Mike
