Ministry and Continuing Education for Adults Because Our Faith is too Rich to have ever Learned it All…

Contact Heidi Clark, Director of Adult Ministry, 281.333.3891, Ext. 328 or [email protected] for more information. Adult faith formation at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is centered around the understanding that living

“The Way” taught by Jesus Christ is a life-long, evolving journey, involving both effort and decision. To enable adults to explore the

faith and deepen their knowledge of God’s Word, we provide many opportunities to come together in a learning environment. As a

diverse community with a small parish feel, we know it is important to walk that journey with others and to share what we have

    learned along the way.

Silver Linings Meeting Our monthly program for parishioners 55 and older meets again on Monday, November 14, at 1 PM in room 10. Our guest speaker is Deacon Scott Daniels and we’ll have a potluck luncheon.

RCIA Continues to Grow! By the grace of God, our RCIA program continues to grow in number. At the 5 PM Mass on Sunday, November 13, we will celebrate our parish’s second Rite of Welcoming for people who are new to the RCIA program. Please be prepared to give them a warm, St. Paul welcome!

Pope Francis: Plunged Into the Deep

“It is true that…trust in the unseen can cause us to feel disoriented; it is like being plunged into the deep and not knowing what we will find. I myself have frequently experienced this. Yet there is no greater freedom than that of allowing oneself to be guided by the Holy Spirit, renouncing the attempt to plan and control everything to the last detail, and instead letting him enlighten, guide, and direct us, leading us wherever he wills. The Holy Spirit knows well what is needed in every time and place. This is what it means to be mysteriously fruitful!”

    Evangelii Gaudium

This is a Catholic peer-ministry support group that addresses the stress, anger, blame and guilt of divorce and leads participants toward forgiveness, happiness and growth. The 14-session program begins Monday, November 28, at 7 PM in the conference room. Cost is $30 and financial assistance is available. Free childcare is provided when reservations are made in advance. Contact Heidi f you are interested in participating: [email protected] or 281.333.3891 or to make childcare arrangements.

Baptism Volunteers Needed This is a volunteer need that doesn’t take a lot of time but can make a HUGE difference in the lives of those you minister to. Prefacio de difuntos I, Misal Romano ; CIC # 1012

We will begin selling our pizzas kits tomorrow, Monday, October 31st with the final day to purchase them being November 18th. Look for us in the Narthex after church soon on the 6th and 13th of November.

There are an unusually high number of asps on our playground and in our yards lately. Watch out for a furry white or grey caterpillar when your child is outside. They sting and they are incredibly painful.
