Tis’ the season of thanks and I have many “thank you’s” to give all of you for the wonderful Halloween Party. It was a spooky, fun, safe envi- ronment for our children. A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Newsom and Mrs. Kidwell for all of their effort in the organization and planning of this grand event. It was all about the kids!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sr. Linda. Through her efforts and dedication to our school, we had a very successful golf tour- nament and are anticipating many more great events. Please show her your support in any way you can but especially by a “thank you”. God Bless all of you, Ms. Val Timmer Saturday, November 21 st from 9am - 3pm Sunday, November 22 nd from 9am - 1pm Join us for: Bake Sale - Homemade Candy Handmade Crafts - Thrift Store Breakfast/Lunch - Raffles Children’s Activities - Bounce House - Vendors We kicked off our Fall fundraiser yesterday. Your student will be bringing home the fundraiser packet today. Students are not to sell door to door. There is an array of high quality products available. Great for Christmas gifts. These sales directly benefit our students in helping to keep tuition lower.

Hello all!!

Tis’ the season of thanks and I have many “thank you’s” to give all of you for the wonderful Halloween Party. It was a spooky, fun, safe envi-ronment for our children. A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Newsom and Mrs. Kidwell for all of their effort in the organization and planning of this grand event. It was all about the kids!!

students about ocean life. She and the stu-

dents had a great time discussing the life be-

neath the sea.

More about the Christmas Bazaar……

Start collecting and setting aside items you no longer want or need for our Thrift

Store at the Bazaar. Items may be brought in the week of November 16th!

Calling all crafters! Table space is still available for the Bazaar. If you are interested, please contact

Sr. Linda at 588-6171or e-mail [email protected] for information.

Like to shop? Consider making up your own basket for the raffle table at the bazaar.

Costs should not exceed $40 but can be as little as $20. Pick a theme and shop for bargains! We arrange and wrap the items - you just pro-vide the goodies! Basket donations can count toward your volunteer hours. Contact Sr. Linda with questions.

High School Information Sessions for current 8th Graders: Bishop Sullivan Catholic High Day - December 2nd. More information to come with the 8th grade students.

Granby High School—International Baccalaureate Pro-gram information meeting for rising 9th graders and their parents-Wed. Nov. 18th at 6:00pm

Fun things happening at school…….

School Reminders…

• Winter uniforms went into effect November 2nd. Refer to the Parent/Student Hand book for information on student uniforms. It is important to make sure your child wears the appropriate uniform daily.

• Picture Re-Takes - Friday, November 6th.

• The Middle School Retreat is Tuesday, November 10th. Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are to wear their gym uniforms. Lunch will be provided.

• Beginning with the December 2nd communiqué, we will no longer print the newsletter, flyers, etc. All in-formation will be available on the school website. Please contact the office if you will need printed copies of the communique. We will continue to print the breakfast and lunch forms.

• 1st trimester afterschool activities will end Friday, No-vember 4th. 2nd trimester afterschool activity sign ups will be in the November 18th communiqué.

• Blessing of the Animals will be on Wednesday, No-vember 18th at 1:15 outside of Memorial Hall. Parents may bring their family pet(s) to be blessed.

The came marching in after Mass on October 29th.
