La mayoría de nuestros feligreses se han llevado a
casa su alcancia "Mi aguinaldo para San Benito" con la
meta de donar un dólar por día durante 50 días. Si no
recibió su alcancia, recójala después de la misa o en la
rectoría. También le pedimos que si aún no ha
entregado la tarjeta verde adjunta a la caja, la
complete y se la entregue a uno de los voluntarios de
nuestra parroquia. ¡Estamos muy agradecidos por su
apoyo en este proyecto para construir los muy
necesarios confesioanarios!

THANKSGIVING MASS There will be one Mass on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th at 10am. The Mass will be bilingual.
We will be collec3ng non-perishable food items to be donated to the food pantry.

CATEQUESIS FAMILIAR La catequesis familiar comenzara el domingo, 1 de
diciembre a las 10:15am en el hall de la escuela.
AUMENTO DEL OFERTORIO
Muchas gracias por la colecta de la semana pasada en
la cual obtuvimos un total de $4,055. La asistencia fue
de 889 personas en las misas de ese fin de
semana. Esto equivale a un promedio de $4.56 por
persona en la colecta semanal. Queremos pedirles a
cada uno de ustedes. que aporte el doble. Si aportas
$5, piensa en aportar $10; si aportas $10, piensa en
aportar $20. Si aportas lo que puedas, piensa si
puedes aportar el doble. Como comunidad tenemos
que hacer el esfuerzo de mejorar el monto semanal
de la colecta para lograr una mayor estabilidad y
sostenibilidad de la parroquia. Sabemos que cada uno
de ustedes hace el esfuerzo y también sabemos que
3enen las posibilidades de con3nuar siendo
extremadamente generosos, más de lo que ya son.

Thirty-third Sunday of Ordinary Time As the Liturgical Year draws to a close, the
readings have a dark, somewhat frightening tenor
about them. But Jesus offers hope, even amid
predic3ons of “…powerful earthquakes, famines,
and plagues from place to place” and yes,
persecu3on too. This gospel reminds us to pray for
vic3ms of natural disasters as well as for those
Chris3ans who are being persecuted for their faith.
The growing seculariza3on of our culture demands
that people of faith be ready to give tes3mony to
the saving message of Jesus Christ. Jesus assures
us, “I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking
that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist
or refute.” Trust Jesus, He will give you the wisdom
to say what needs to be said.
Trigésimo tercer Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
Ordinario Al acercarse el final del año litúrgico, en
las lecturas encontramos algo obscuro que de
alguna manera nos hace temer, pero Jesús nos
ofrece una esperanza, aún en medio de esas
predicaciones de “… Poderosos terremotos,
hambre y plagas de esquina esquina” y si, también
persecución. Este evangelio nos recuerda orar por
las víc3mas de los desastres naturales, así como
también por aquellos cris3anos que están siendo
perseguidos por causa de su fe. El crecimiento de
la secularización de nuestra cultura nos exige a las
personas de fe estar preparadas para dar
tes3monio del mensaje salvador de Jesucristo.
Jesús nos asegura, “yo os daré palabras y sabiduría
a las que no podrá hacer frente ni contradecir
ningún adversario vuestro.” con_a en el señor, él
te dará la sabiduría para que digas lo que necesita
ser dicho.
WORLD DAY OF THE POOR November 17th
MESSAGE OF HIS HOLINESS POPE FRANCIS
5. We can never elude the urgent appeal that
Scripture makes on behalf of the poor. Wherever we
look, the word of God points to the poor, those who
lack the necessi3es of life because they depend on
others. They are the oppressed, the lowly and the
downcast. Yet, faced with countless throngs of the
poor, Jesus was not afraid to iden3fy with each of
them: “Whatever you did to one of the least of these
my brethren, you did to me” (Mt 25:40). If we refuse to
make this iden3fica3on, we falsify the Gospel and
water down God’s revela3on. The God that Jesus came
to reveal is a Father who is generous, merciful,
unfailing in his goodness and grace. He gives hope
especially to those who are disillusioned and lacking in
hope for the future.

MENSAJE DEL SANTO PADRE FRANCISCO
5. No hay forma de eludir la llamada apremiante que la
Sagrada Escritura con_a a los pobres. Dondequiera que
se mire, la Palabra de Dios indica que los pobres son
aquellos que no disponen de lo necesario para vivir
porque dependen de los demás. Ellos son el oprimido,
el humilde, el que está postrado en 3erra. Aun así, ante
esta mul3tud innumerable de indigentes, Jesús no tuvo
miedo de iden3ficarse con cada uno de ellos: «Cada vez
que lo hicisteis con uno de estos, mis hermanos más
pequeños, conmigo lo hicisteis» (Mt 25,40). Huir de
esta iden3ficación equivale a falsificar el Evangelio y
atenuar la revelación. El Dios que Jesús quiso revelar es
éste: un Padre generoso, misericordioso, inagotable en
su bondad y gracia, que ofrece esperanza sobre todo a
los que están desilusionados y privados de futuro.
