Opening Ceremony of OIC Higher Education Conference 2013 launched by Dr. Roziah Omar - Deputy Director of Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT),
representing the Minister of Education II Malaysia.
The OIC Higher Education Conference 2014towards excellent global economies
This 2-Day Conference will be held to share ideas on how higher education institutions in the Muslim World could work better with business, government and wider society at large to enable OIC Member Countries to remain competitive, innovative and strategically agile
during this period of immense economic uncertainty.
Concurrently, it creates the awareness about the vital role of education in the Muslim world in conjunction with the effort to realize the dream of achieving the renaissance that Muslims once had. Furthermore, it is to assist in the role of reaching out to all member states in understanding more about it.
Fellow Muslims should grasp the issues that are faced by the Muslims especially in the conflict areas in the Muslim world, especially regarding the need of higher education and recognition throughout the world. The higher education conference should be able to provide some guidance in addressing this matter.
