FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION CERTIFICATES Certificates for First Holy Communion and Confirmation for 2016 may be picked up in the office of Religious Education until June 15. The office is located at 503 M Street. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OFFICE The office of Religious Education will closed for the summer beginning June 16. The office will reopen on August 16. Registrations will resume on August 23. More information will be available in upcoming bulletins. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The F.D.E.S. will celebrate the Feast of the Holy Spirit during the 11 a.m. Mass on June 12 in Portuguese. Because of this special celebration the 12:30 p.m. Span-ish Mass will be moved to 1:30 p.m. Please make note of this change.

ST. PIUS X AWARDS This year’s St. Pius Awards Celebration will take place on Friday, June 24, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation at 6:45p.m. We are blessed by over 2,000 catechists and weekly volunteers! The heart of our parish faith formation programs is the dedication of catechists and their
willingness to share their faith with other adults, children and youth. It takes over 2,000 volunteer catechists for the catechetical programs in our 34 parishes and 14 missions to function. The Diocese of Stockton honors those who have faithfully served in this capacity for five years or more at the Annual St. Pius X Awards Banquet. Bishop Stephen E. PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN! Bishop Steven Blaire was at the school campus Friday, May 27th to give a blessing at the site of the new St. Vincent de Paul Community Life Center. Phase 1 began Tuesday, May 31st. The preschool will be relocated and a new parking lot installed. The building committee continues to develop plans for the multipurpose facility and hopes to pour the foundation for the 16,000 sq ft structure this fall. THANK YOU, to the many donors and volunteers that have participated in this exciting time for our
parish. A special thanks to Mike McCollum for the great photos!
¡PRIMERA ETAPA DE LA CONSTRUCCION HA COMENZADO! El Obispo Stephen Blaire estúvo en la escuela el viernes, 27 de mayo para bendecir el sitio del Centro Comunitario San Vicente de Paul. La Primera Etapa, comenzó el martes, 31 de mayo. La escuela pre-escolar sera trasladada y un nuevo estacionamiento se instalará. El comite de
