We received a wonderful surprise over Christmas break from a member of the Visitation Class of 1973, Grace Domingez. Grace manages a Barnes and Noble in Florida, and sent each of our teachers a bundle of books for their classroom libraries. She also sent 2 STEM robot kits for the students in our upper level classrooms. A huge thank you to Grace—we are blessed with wonderful alumni here at Visitation!

John, Vicky, Mark and Mary will be preparing Afri-can food for you to sample including “andazi” and “katogo”. Holy Lands Tour Are you considering taking part in the Saint John Paul II Holy Lands Pilgrimage Tour November 4 – 14 of this year? Whether you are merely curious or are ready to sign up, plan to attend an informational meeting on Sunday, January 27th at 2:00 p.m. in Visitation Catholic School library. There will be a brief presentation made by Mark and Mary Ebert on the tour itinerary and what Próximo Travel has to offer followed by a time to ask specific questions and discuss travel logistics. Registra-tion for the tour will open once we have ten or more confirmed travelers, and we are already close to that! The spiritual pilgrimage includes visits to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho, Masada, Galilee, Cana, Nazareth, the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee, and renewal of bap-tismal vows in the Jordan River. To follow in Jesus’s footsteps and worship as a Catholic community with Fr. John - what a great way to commemorate his 25th Jubilee of ordination to the Priesthood! If you have questions at this time, or are interested in traveling but are unable to attend this informational meeting, contact the Ebert’s at 309-525-1030 (Mary) or 309-525-4340 (Mark).
