RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

"RCIA is a Process"

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

is a process of inviting people into the Catholic

Church. The invitation is God’s work; the

response is ours. The process is a step by step journey of faith, in which interested people may

slowly look at the Catholic Faith and decide if the

Catholic Church is where they are being called; or for those who have been away from the Church for

some time and would now like to “come home” to

participate fully in the Sacramental life of the Church. We also encourage those who would just

like to “renew” and strengthen their faith to join us.

RCIA classes for the year 2012-13 are being held on Sundays at 9:30 AM, in room 523 in the CYO

Building. If you have questions about the Catholic

Faith or would like to know more about the RCIA process, please

call the Faith Formation Office

433-2777 ext. 138.

RICA

857-0365.
