Prayer to Know My Vocation
… Lord, I want to be happy in
this life and spend eternity
with You in the life to come.
From the first moment of my
existence, You knew my
vocation. Please help me
discover Your plan for my life.
Help me to know myself. Help
me to overcome my fears.
Help me to want what You
want. Help me to trust You
completely. Send Your Holy
Spirit into my mind and heart
so, I can see the gifts You
have given me and hear Your
call to serve the Church.
Increase my desire to bring
others to You and to help
them reach heaven. Mary,
Most Holy Mother of God,
pray for me, that I can
discover my vocation and
have the courage to respond
in faith. AMEN
“Faith is the assurance of that
which is hoped for.”

the call, you can hope to be
true to it. Will you follow Christ

consecrated life? Call Father
Jeff Kolonel at (709)745-8183

Weekly Reflections : Today’s readings offer valuable lessons concerning trust and humility, both
of which serve as important criteria for Christians in developing healthy prayer practices and a
deeper relationship with God. God hears and responds to our prayers lovingly and rewards our
loyalty to him regardless of our journey or identity in life. Saint Luke reminds us we must always be
grateful for God’s gifts, appreciating our blessings but never celebrating them boastfully or
excessively. As we seek to grow closer to God in our daily living, may we strive to practise greater
rust in his way and humble ourselves before him.
