Respect

Happy Mother's Day and Praise the Lord, He saved 721 babies (that we know of) around the world from abortion during this spring's 40 Days for Life campaign! What a huge blessing and answer to prayer! Locally we know of at least 3 moms that chose life for their precious babies. One of these moms also chose to put her faith and trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior! To God be all the glory. She is due in September. Again I say, Happy Mother's Day and Praise the Lord.

Last Sunday, Father David commissioned, along with our faith community, eight new Stephen Ministers, one of whom, Jeri Gonzales, has additional training as a Stephen Leader. We are celebrating each of them, because they are special, caring, loving people. Three of them are men who are outstanding in every way. They will be a blessing for our entire parish as they assist our new pastor, Fr. Santos and our wonderful Deacon Dan and Deacon Pete in caring of male parishioners. Some people are still asking, “What do Stephen Ministers do?” We help in many ways, we really do help!! 1. We offer Christian friendship and love. 2. We offer a strong support system. 3.
